Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely. Belmont Behavioral Health System offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adolescents ages 13-17 who are struggling with a variety of behavioral health concerns. In our PHP, young people can learn to effectively manage their symptoms so that they can begin to function better in their daily lives. This program can be beneficial for individuals who are stepping down from inpatient treatment and still require intensive services but do not need 24/7 supervision. Patients typically remain in the program for two to three weeks, though the length of treatment can vary depending on the needs of each individual. Those in the PHP take part in treatment five days a week for five to six hours a day. During this time, they receive focused care from a dedicated team of professionals. Our staff works closely with each patient to better understand their needs and how we can best support them on their healing journey. Through our premier outpatient services, adolescents can improve their confidence and resiliency and learn skills that promote long-term well-being.

A Road to Recovery is a 24 bed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Facility specializing in treating persons who suffer from the disease of addiction often with the duel diagnosis of having an accompanying mental health condition. Our program provides a comfortable, more home like environment in a non-institutional setting. At A Road to Recovery, we believe that people respond better to treatment when they are in an environment where they feel safe, comfortable and are treated with care, respect and dignity. We also place a strong emphasis on true Individualized Treatment as many clients have underlying contributing issues or causes to their addiction where no two are exactly alike.

Pathway Counseling Services is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania to provide Drug and Alcohol counseling for both adults and adolescents with legal issues. We are on the licensed provider list for both Delaware and Chester counties. Being we are a licensed facility our program is accepted by other states. Our facility is located on West Chester Pike. We offer Evaluations and groups for Drug and Alcohol, Anger Management, Mental Health, Domestic violence issues, Adolescent groups and parenting classes. We make every effort to make our services affordable and convenient for the client. We are committed to completing documentation in a timely manner. A copy of the completed evaluation is given to the client during the first visit. Our program is open-ended, and clients can attend the groups that work best for their time table. Completion letters are provided to the client on the day of their last session. Copies of both the evaluation and completion paperwork are faxed to the person or persons that the client designates. Many of our clients identify specific tools they have learned that will be beneficial to them in the future.

TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), is a safe, non-invasive, effective treatment option for individuals suffering from Major Depressive Disorder who have not seen satisfactory results from antidepressants. These pulses will feel like tapping on the scalp. When delivered at the correct frequency and intensity, the pulses create localized electromagnetic fields which have the ability to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. Although treatment plans are individualized, the typical course of treatment is 5 times a week, for 6 weeks. Each individual treatment session takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and patients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment. TMS does not use anesthesia, and patients are fully alert for the duration of the treatment session. TMS can be used as a stand-alone therapy, or in conjunction with medication and psychotherapies. TMS does not have the same side effects as traditional medications, and is generally well tolerated. The most common side effects are mild headache and sensitivity at the site of stimulation.
