Parenting Through Separation and Divorce: Workshop
If you're going through a separation or divorce and would like help navigating the pitfalls and potential minefields - and ensure your children are receiving the support they need - attend one of our FREE workshops, offering practical advice. We create a caring and collaborative environment as we help parents understand their children's needs during this challenging transition. The workshops offer specific suggestions for creating the most beneficial post-divorce parenting relationships. First Monday of every month except Jan and Sept. ADHD and Learning Disabilities Workshop - FREE
This free workshop series provides the parents of children with ADHD and LD's with practical tips, resources, and guidance for supporting and advocating for children with attention and learning disabilities. This workshop will leave you with realistic ways to apply your new knowledge, both at home and at school. The workshops are free, but registration is required. Children with Anxiety - Ages 7-10 Group
In-person group for children with anxiety and their parents/guardians. The group uses CBT/Coping Cat combined with features of the SPACE Program (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Includes both a child treatment component and a parent training component. Group meets in-person each week for 90-minute sessions over the course of 9 weeks, with an optional 1-month follow-up booster session. Kira Boneff, Ph.D, a postdoctoral fellow at UCCF, leads the group under supervision of Jami Socha, Ph.D. Some insurances accepted. Self-pay option available at $45 per session.
