Life Counseling Services & The Light Program

Life Counseling Services began in 1987 and since that time we have served communities by offering professional counseling and psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults. Life Counseling Services recognizes that everyone struggles with life's challenges from time to time. Life Counseling Services exists to help people face those challenges. Life Counseling Services provides general counseling for children, adolescents, and adults covering a wide range of topics from depression and anxiety to child rearing to marriage counseling. Our therapists maintain flexible schedules and we have daytime and evening. The Light Program is an intensive group outpatient program for those who are in crisis and struggling to function on a daily basis. The Light Program meets 3 to 4 times per week and participants typically attend 12 to 15 sessions over 3 to 5 weeks. Upon completion of The Light Program, participants are frequently referred to an individual counselor for weekly counseling. Our Seeds of Hope Program offers intensive outpatient counseling services for individuals with eating disorders. We have individual and group counseling options for children, adolescents, and adults at both of our Philadelphia office locations.
