We offer a range of interventions within an integrated psychodynamic framework. An emphasis is placed on patient authority and responsibility while examining the meaning behind behaviors and how behaviors impact relationships. We treat the individual, not just the diagnosis. Fitchburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and specializes in providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who have opioid addictions. MAT combines the use of prescription medication with counseling. This approach has proved to be successful in helping patients maintain recovery. Unlike some methadone clinics that only provide one kind of medication, we offer methadone and Suboxone to address opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms. These medications can help patients stop using opioids without experiencing painful symptoms of withdrawal. While medication can treat the physical aspect of opioid addiction, MAT includes a therapy component to address the emotional and psychological aspects of addiction.
